Tila Tequila Choses Bobby!
Was MTV’s A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila just a publicity stunt for Tila Nguyen otherwise known as Tila Tequila on the internet? Or was it really the story of a lonely superstar looking for true love? In the end Tila Tequila chose Bobby Banhart. MTV’s Episode Summary
That’s right, it’s down to the final two… Dani and Bobby. The final contestants walk downstairs to find a message in a bottle. Tila wants to show them a day in the life of her.The first stop… the recording studio. Tila has Dani and Bobby write lyrics to an instrumental version of one of her songs. Now it’s time to cut their chops in front of the mic. Bobby falls a little short in comparison to Dani’s lyrics and pipes.

Moving on with the day in the life of Tila Tequila, we have the modeling aspect. Dani and Bobby individually snap off a couple roles with Tila. But it started getting a little awkward when it was all three together in front of the camera. Dani admits that it’s very different only having two people left, Tila is either always looking at one or the other. Tila tells them that she has to leave to get ready for the big final dinner later in the night.

Tila is looking ever so elegant at dinner. When Dani and Bobby arrive, Dani questions why there are so many extra place settings if it’s just the three of them. The doorbell rings to reveal Dani and Bobby’s family are there to eat with them. At dinner, both of the mothers give Tila reasons why they think they should pick their own kids.

After dinner, Tila takes the entire group to another room where her dancing poles are. Bobby’s Mom instantly jumps on a pole to show what she’s got. Tila joins in on the fun and has a minor wardrobe malfunction. Tila heads for bed and explains she has a lot to think about after this experience.

The next morning, Dani and Bobby express the anxiety that they’re going through. After breakfast, they take out the final message in a bottle. Tila has arranged a day of relaxation for the both of them before the final elimination. Both Dani and Bobby rehash their fond memories and growing love for Tila.

For Tila’s last date with Dani, she has set-up a romantic dinner. Dani has a toast to her fond memories with Tila. Dani gives Tila a gift… a keychain with a note inside that explains that she will always be there for her. Not to mention, she also left her phone number on the note as well. After dinner, Tila wants to simply cuddle. The couple share some laughs and a passionate kiss.

Now it’s Bobby’s turn at a final date with Tila, who admits she wants to see more heart from him. They meet up in the ultra-romantic grotto. Bobby gives her a present… a blank songbook to write in. He explains that he was extremely happy to see Tila so happy in the studio and continuing with the success of her career. Bobby wrote a note inside thanking her for their times together, regardless if he is chosen or not. The couple share a passionate kiss, which Bobby admits to being the sexiest kiss he’s ever had.

This is it… the final elimination. Tila explains her emotions of excitement and nervousness. A teary-eyed Tila explains to Dani and Bobby that she has come to love the both of them and that this decision was far harder than she expected. She goes on to further explain what qualities she has come to love in both of them and thanks them both for opening their hearts to her. Tila Tequila wants to take a shot at love with… Bobby.

After a long kiss with Bobby, Tila remembers Dani, who has already begun walking back to the house. Tila yells for her and chases down Dani. They embrace and Tila breaks down, explaining that it isn’t easy for her.

Tila takes Bobby up to her room, which he has never seen. In the end, she chose a man.
